Export help for Bondholders
Marketing Derby Bondholders who have ambitions to export are being urged to take advantage of a range of government support available.
Last month, the Department for International Trade (DIT) launched The Export Academy, which is a series of one-hour modules designed to encourage new and/or responsive exporters to consider increasing their international sales.
Businesses can pick and mix which modules they would like to attend to find out how to understand customs procedures, export controls and documentation, getting paid, how to research international markets, pricing and distribution, export procedures and Inco terms. All the sessions are free and delivered online.
Derbyshire firms are also being encouraged to take advantage of the DIT Internationalisation Fund, which covers areas including internationalising a website, procuring translation services, international consultancy, international legal advice, international IP advice, independent market visits and attendance at non TAP trade fairs.
DIT is also offering companies 30-minute one-to-one video/telephone consultations with its international trade advisers.
