Aerospace Campus Gets Go Ahead
Aerospace giant and Bondholder, Rolls-Royce, has been given permission to push ahead with plans to modernise its city operations with a brand new aerospace campus.
Fellow Bondholder Derby City Council has also granted permission to change the existing road infrastructure to facilitate a unified site.
The new campus design is similar to those from the firm's sites in the US and Singapore and further solidifies Rolls-Royce's future in Derby after being chosen as the main production hub for Trent XWB engines back in December.
The positive news comes after a week of securing deals totalling over $2.2 billion with Saudia and International AirFinance Corporation (IAFC), as well as the firm's deal with RwandAir this week.
