Restaurant introduces new ordering tech

Health food eatery Mezzo has upped its digital offering to make it easier for corporate customers to place group orders.

The award-winning Pride Park-based restaurant has introduced a new group ordering implementation to both its website and app, which was created by App4 Developments.

It means that a single office contact can orchestrate a large order for collection in a single transaction without having to go to the time and trouble of manually keying multiple orders.

Instead, they e-mail a link to the end recipients who then select their individual order requirements, which are then automatically collated, processed and sent back to the single point of contact for checkout.

Mezzo owner David Meredith said: “Our business customers have been crying out for this functionality.

“It often falls to the office manager or receptionist to key in long orders, or manually collate things on a spreadsheet and mistakes are easily made. This development negates the need for any of that.”
