New neighbours are a cut above

A hair and beauty salon has relocated to Pride Park in the same unit as healthy eating outlet Mezzo Restaurant and Take Out.

Towards the end of last year, the owners of Mezzo agreed to lease the space above its restaurant, in Victoria Way, to Theaker and Scott – formerly Mark Scott Hair and Beauty.

Now, the fit-out of the space has been completed and the business has relocated from the city centre.

The deal for the space, which offers over 1,000 sq ft, was secured by commercial property firm OMEETO.

David Meredith, from Mezzo, said: “We are delighted to welcome Theaker and Scott to the building.

“I am absolutely sure they will be a very complimentary partner to our business.”

James Theaker, manager of the new Pride Park salon, said: “After nearly 40 years of working in Derby city centre the decision to move wasn’t an easy one but we think with the location and working alongside Mezzo we will really thrive on Pride Park.”
