Approval granted for extra units
Plans to add more buildings at a Derbyshire business park have been given the go-ahead by planners.
South Derbyshire District Council has approved proposals by Clowes Developments to build a further two units at Dove Valley Park, Foston.
It would see Clowes build the two warehouse/office units, which are forecast to create 140 and 40 jobs respectively.
One of the buildings would provide 113,000 sq ft, while the other 33,000 sq ft.
Dove Valley Park is a major employment site, currently home to the likes of JCB, Kuhne and Nagel (now called GXO), Futaba and Top Hat.
A statement filed as part of the planning application, said: “The development will provide a range of high-quality jobs for the district and bolster Dove Valley Park’s growing reputation as a highly sought after industrial and logistics location.”
