Free health and hygiene assessments
A new free initiative has been launched by Bondholder HSG to help businesses prepare for a smooth return to trading once lockdown is eased.
HSG aims to give business owners peace of mind that they are doing everything they can to ensure the safety of their customers and staff moving forwards, by offering a free Hygiene Audit – a health and wellbeing assessment for businesses.
Following the assessment, the team will provide a non-committal report that will outline recommended areas for improvement from a hygiene perspective. Solutions could include upgrading existing facilities such as hand sanitiser, soap and towel dispensers as well as new innovations such as no-touch door opening and social distancing reminder floor mats.
Simon Rice, Managing Director of HSG, said: “These unprecedented times have reminded us all that hand washing is vitally important to prevent the spread of this and wider viruses and disease and the consensus is that this will be the ‘new normal’ as we move forward.
“Staff and customers alike will, quite rightly, have higher expectations of washroom hygiene standards in the places that they work and visit and all businesses from offices to restaurants need to take this on board.
“We are therefore offering a Hygiene Audit initially to businesses in and around Derbyshire to ensure that we can meet demand and then further afield if practical to do so.
“We hope that this will give businesses peace of mind that they are fully prepared to re-open their doors and to provide reassurance to their staff and customers that measures have been taken to protect their health and well-being in these continued challenging times.”
HSG gained The Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation in 2018 for its vanguard product, the Ureco washroom water conservation system.
