Timms Solicitors is investing in young talent by announcing the promotion of one of its family law paralegals.

Leah Pilling has taken up a contract as a trainee solicitor at the firm.

Leah is a first-class honours law graduate from Manchester Metropolitan University and is combining work at Timms with studying for the Legal Practicing Certificate (LPC) and a Masters degree.

Adrian Rose, partner and training principal at Timms, said: “We remain firmly committed to achieving growth through home-grown talent and ensuring that young professionals have all the support, training and qualifications that they need for their own career development and to achieve the high standards of work that we expect at Timms.

“Leah has already proved to be a consummate professional and we are delighted to reward this with a training contract.”

Leah said: “I am excited to move to the next stage of my legal career with the support of the great team of lawyers and paralegals at Timms Solicitors.

“Although it is hard work to combine case work with studying, my goal is to follow in the footsteps of the other trainee solicitors who have developed their careers and been successful at Timms.”
