Bondholders Launch Limited Edition Owl
Bondholder University of Derby has worked closely with fellow Bondholder Royal Crown Derby to produce a limited edition bone china and 22-carat gold owl.
The two companies have worked together to celebrate their heritage and Derby's manufacturing and creative legacy with an exclusive limited edition University of Derby branded owl paperweight.

Designed and made from English bone china and finished in 22-carat gold by Royal Crown Derby at its 200-year-old factory, the owl is a classical symbol of wisdom and features prominently on the University's crest sitting above its motto - xperientia docet – meaning 'experience teaches'.

Each owl comes with a Royal Crown Derby branded box; a certificate of authenticity; and a Royal Crown Derby branded 'romance card' which explains the story of what the owl symbolises.
