Rolls-Royce Brings Aerospace Site into 21st Century

Hi-tech giant and Marketing Derby Bondholder, Rolls-Royce, has announced major plans to modernise its site in Sinfin and to include a new “aerospace campus”.
Rolls-Royce has said it wants to invest “significantly” in its civil aerospace division at Sinfin, replacing ageing buildings that date back to the 1940s with brand new ones on a campus, along with some associated road network improvements.

“We need to modernise our facilities to help us continue to be competitive and continue to meet the needs of our customers”
The new campus would be similar to the firm's buildings found in the US and Singapore, a sign of Rolls-Royce's long-term commitment to Derby.
