Moorfield Completes Acquisition of Derby Riverlights for £16.5 Million

Moorfield Group has announced its acquisition of the Derby Riverlights scheme located adjacent to intu Derby and Riverside Gardens.

Built in 2010, Derby Riverlights comprises a combination of retail and leisure units including two hotels occupied by Holiday Inn and Hampton by Hilton, Genting Casino and Derby's bus station which transports around 12 million people to and from the city each year.

Located in Derby's St. Peters Quarter, the scheme is close to the intu Derby shopping centre and Derby's Castleward area, a current development by Compendium Living to provide 800 new homes and 34,500 sq ft of commercial space, and benefits from an already massive footfall.
