Flint Bishop Announces Two New Partners
Leading law firm and Bondholder, Flint Bishop LLP, has announced two new promotions to its partnership after announcing a major recruitment drive just two weeks ago.
Established a century ago, the firm has grown substantially in the last few years both in terms of size and reputation.
Lorna Trueman who joined Flint Bishop in 2010 has been promoted to Commercial Litigation Partner. Lorna has over ten years of litigation experience and acts for large multi-national companies dealing with high value and complex claims. Lorna is praised for her robust advice and commercial approach which sees her getting excellent results. She sits within one of the biggest litigation teams in the Midlands and the quality of client wins and work the team takes on continues to improve year on year.
The second promotion is Defendant Insurance Partner, Jonathan Gilbert, who has been with the firm for over 23 years. He deals with cases involving technical indemnity and insurance law disputes, including MIB Technical Committee matters; cases involving high value and complex injury claims/liability disputes; Court of Appeal litigation, as well as multi-track and high value credit hire cases. Jon acts for well-known brands, motor insurers and government bodies defending hundreds of technical claims each year.
Both Lorna and Jon report directly to one of few 'leading lawyers', Qamer Ghafoor who is Managing Partner of Commercial Services and Head of Litigation.
