D2N2 LEP launches search for interim chief
The D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnership has launched a search for an interim chief executive.
It follows the announcement that current chief executive Sajeeda Rose will be leaving the post at the end of August to take up a new role at Nottingham City Council.
The LEP’s board of directors is seeking a candidate who can lead the company in its next phase of development and provide high-quality leadership to support the driving of economic growth in Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.
Chair Elizabeth Fagan said: “I would like to thank Sajeeda for her leadership and support over the last three years.
“Her strategic thinking, operational delivery, resilience, integrity, openness and partnership approach have all combined to deliver the strategic economic benefits for the D2N2LEP region, which are there for all to see. I wish her continued success in her new role.
“We are now working to ensure the smoothest of transitions to a new interim CEO and are seeking a talented individual to take charge and build on the LEP’s achievements to date.”
The closing date for applications is 9am on Monday 5 July, with interviews on 13 July.
