Century up for serviced apartment provider
Serviced apartment provider The Stay Company is celebrating the opening of its 100th apartment, while announcing plans for further growth across the region.
The firm, which is based in Friar Gate, wants to add more sites to its Derby and Nottingham portfolio after achieving the centenary milestone by opening Phoenix Court, in Nottinghamshire.
The Stay Company has said it is currently exploring suitable opportunities in Leicestershire.
Director Dan Wilkinson said: “It is clear there is a growing demand for premium, extended stay accommodation in and around the East Midlands.
“We have numerous apartments in and around Derby, and our recently opened trio of sites in Nottingham are proving very popular with tourist travellers and businesspeople alike.
“We’re now looking to extend our portfolio across the East Midlands.
“This has been our plan for some time, but in the beginning, we wanted to concentrate on Derby and Nottingham.
“We’re excited at the prospect of growing our quality brand and giving other cities a taste of what The Stay Company is about, offering more guests our high-quality serviced apartments.”
This year, The Stay Company launched Phoenix Court – a purpose-built block offering one and two-bedroom apartments.
Dan said: “After Derby, came Nottingham, and this followed a natural progression of expansion from our core area of operation.
“Now we are looking across the border in Leicestershire and we have already identified some interesting development opportunities.
“It is extremely rewarding to witness the growth in the number of serviced apartments that we can offer clients.
“Celebrating our 100th apartment is a landmark achievement, and we’d like to take this opportunity to thank our exceptional team.
“The staff work extremely hard to give guests the welcome they deserve. It certainly is a milestone moment for The Stay Company.”
