Cubo set to open second Scottish location

Flex office operator Cubo is set to open a second location in Scotland after agreeing a deal for a workspace in Glasgow.

The firm, which opened its first location in Derby, has agreed a deal for a 20,000 sq ft workspace at a building called Aurora.

Cubo has taken the entire second floor of the building, which will add around 350 desks to its portfolio.

It will be the firm’s second venture in Scotland, after it opened Cubo Edinburgh in July last year.

The new Glasgow workspace will officially open its doors in April and will be the 12th Cubo location.

Chief executive Marc Brough said: “We are very excited to have secured what we believe is the best-in-class new Grade A space in Glasgow and look forward to launching Cubo in April.

“Our Edinburgh workspace continues to go from strength to strength and following openings in Manchester and Newcastle in late 2023, we see Glasgow as a critical piece in our plan to gain representation in all of the UK’s core city centres.”
