Digital skills training firm celebrates top marks

Tech and digital skills training provider althaus is celebrating after being rated as ‘outstanding’ by education regulator Ofsted following a full inspection.
It puts the firm in the top tier of independent learning providers in England; a grade that only seven per cent of same-category education providers achieved, according to Ofsted’s latest main findings report.
Specialising in digitally focused talent solutions, althaus aims to overcome the UK’s digital skills gap through the provision of Level 3 and 4 apprenticeships, focused on in-demand subject areas, including digital marketing, cyber security, software, data, and IT solutions.
Based on Pride Park, the training provider supports over 60 employer partners within the region, and recently welcomed its 1000th learner across its apprenticeships and Skills Bootcamp provision.
As part of the inspection’s findings, the training provider was awarded ‘outstanding’ in five out of six individual categories, including the quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, leadership and management, adult learning programmes and apprenticeships.
The report acknowledged the high standard of learners’ work, with a high proportion of apprentices gaining a distinction grade.
Althaus was founded in 2020, during the pandemic. Over the last three years, the organisation has grown, playing a key role in meeting demand for skilled individuals in the digital economy, both in the Midlands and nationwide.
