Goblin up the miles for epic driving challenge
A team from sustainable technology firm Circulayo are embarking on an epic driving challenge to raise money for four charities.
The team, competing under the name The Green Goblins, are taking part in the Pavestone Rally 2023.
The challenge sees teams take on an epic five-day journey, spanning more than 1,500 miles, from Ghent to Monte Carlo.
Using a car bought for less than £500, they journey from Ghent to Strasbourg, then Innsbruck, and Milan before crossing the finish line in the iconic Monte Carlo, with a gala dinner in Nice.
Along the way, they will tackle fancy dress-themed days and daring challenges.
The event, which starts today, brings together businesses from around the UK to raise money for charity.
The Green Goblins are raising cash for the British Heart Foundation, Variety, Crash Charity, and Rainy Day Trust.
In a statement, Circulayo said: “Through their actions on the road, The Green Goblins are determined to contribute to these impactful charities, supporting causes that touch countless lives around the world.
“The adventure is set to encompass breathtaking landscapes, captivating cultures, and exhilarating challenges.
“The Pavestone Rally isn’t just about the drive; it’s a journey filled with laughter, friendship, and shared purpose.”
People can follow the progress of The Green Goblins via Circulayo’s social media channels.
