Rail freight giant adopts health and safety software

A leading rail freight provider has announced it has adopted software developed by Work Wallet to manage its health and safety throughout the UK.

Following a successful year-long pilot at its Southampton Docks depot, Freightliner is to roll out the Work Wallet’s app across its operations nationwide.

During the pilot, Freightliner estimates it saved more than 1,000 work hours by managing its safety processes digitally – boosting productivity by cutting the time needed to complete essential checks and briefings.

The firm now primarily uses Work Wallet to deliver its safety briefings, asset inspections and manage contractor Permit to Work processes – but is also exploring using a variety of features from Work Wallet’s suite of 13 modules, as part of the partnership.
